Keruin P. Martínez (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, 1989)
Keruin P. Martínez has a degree in History and a master's degree in Contemporary History from the University of Cantabria. He is also co-founder and co-editor of the Antwerp Magazine and a member of the Sol Cultural Association. For about three years he has been developing intense and varied work within the field of photography, a discipline in which, although self-taught, he has benefited from the possibilities offered by new technologies in access to information and knowledge, as well as as well as the contact and friendship of great photographers, whose experience and background have been fundamental in their learning.
His work has been selected to participate in several exhibitions in recognized centers and events in Cantabria, such as Approaching spaces. Meetings with authors proposed by photographic entities of Cantabria (September - November 2021) at the José Manuel Rotella National Center of Photography (CN Foto) in Torrelavega, within the IX Edition of the Torrelavega Photo Art Festival; en Fifty and fifty (April-May 2019), also on CN Foto. Likewise, his work has been presented in other group exhibitions such as those organized by Espacio Imagen, Cultural Association of Photography and Video of Santander. Between December 21, 2021 and January 21, 2022, one of his most important lines of work has been presented in the exhibition “PORTRAITS. Keruin P. Martínez / Casa de Arte Santander Collection” (ACA Project, Santander).
