Art Concept Alternative (ACA) was founded in 2016 by Silvia Medina in Florida, United States, with the aim of promoting the works from visual artists from different parts of the world. In 2021, ACA began a new chapter in Cantabria, Spain, developing the possibilities of extending projects and networks in a new context.
In May 2023, ACA opened a new space in the city of Santander where it continues to develop its main interest: cultural exchange between artists from different places, as well as the support and promotion of the emerging artistic community of Cantabria. From then on, ACA has also become a multidisciplinary space, where it establishes a dialogue and shares other disciplines such as literature, music, theater and fashion, among others.
ACA’s program schedule includes the participation in international art events that contribute to further promotion of international and local artistic creations. Furthermore, the gallery establishes collaborations and projects with other galleries, cultural spaces and collectives of artists.
