When I did not have the words to express myself, painting did it for me. When I shut down and could not speak, my work became the story of my life. My perspective while seeing the world in a kaleidoscope of colors. Social issues, injustice, women's issues, and self-discovery are what inspire me. It's my goal to convey a point of view along with providing comfort to those who may relate to issues I focus on. I do this by using everything at my fingertips. My work tends to look chaotic. Like emotions are being blasted onto a blank surface, so I use anything and everything to make my piece complete. I intend to continue as a mix-media artist. Exploring the many surfaces and materials that can be at my disposal.
